At Memories In Writing Foundation Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we encourage people to capture and preserve their life stories and family history. We distribute free Do-It-Yourself Memoir Workbooks and offer the Memory Journal Project to help individuals document their reflections and memories with ease. Our podcast, Stories Matter!, inspires people to share their experiences. Through education and outreach, we ensure that personal histories, wisdom, and heritage are preserved—bridging generations.

The Memory Journal Project
The Memory Journal Project—a program designed to reduce social isolation and preserve life stories through meaningful weekly conversations.
Each week, a trained volunteer calls a participant for a 5-10 minute conversation, asking a memory-prompting question. The call is recorded, and the response is securely logged in their online journal at MyWebJournal.com.
Over time, these stories are compiled into a beautifully bound book, creating a lasting keepsake for participants and their loved ones.

The Stories Matter! podcast is looking for inspiring individuals to share their unique life experiences. We believe every story matters, and we invite you to share yours—or nominate someone whose story deserves to be heard.
